A look back at the capitalisation seminar ‘’Territories protecting women victims of violence‘’ in Bobigny, France

More than 50 local leaders and experts gathered in Seine-Saint-Denis, France, to highlight the crucial role of local and regional governments in eliminating violence against women, at the final seminar of the three-year international programme ‘’Territories protecting women victims of violence‘’. This programme is based on 20 years’ experience of the Observatory on Violence against Women (OVF) of the Department of Seine-Saint-Denis and of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG) through the Committee on Social Inclusion, Participatory Democracy and Human Rights. It was financed by the French Development Agency (AFD).
