Regional training: Iztapalapa
Within the framework of the program "For protective territories of women victims of violence", the International Observatory of Violence against Women, the organization United Cities and Local Governments and the city council of Iztapalapa jointly organize a regional training seminar.
From December 13 to 16, 2022, the local authorities and members of civil society will exchange their methodological, theoretical and practical tools for thinking about the place of a local government in the fight against violence against women. The aim will be to take action by reflecting on the implementation of effective public policies to prevent, raise awareness and protect against violence against women.
Four central themes will be at the heart of these workshops:
– Domestic violence
– Violence in the public space
– Feminicides
– Diagnosis and implementing local observatories of violence against women
