The International Observatory on Violence against Women supports the joint campaign of the ICPDHR – UCLG and the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights
To mark the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, we are proud to join the Social Inclusion, Human Rights and Participatory Democracy Committee of United Cities and Local Governments (UCLG - CISDPDH), of which Seine-Saint-Denis is co-chair.
We remind you that violence against women remains the greatest violation of human rights, and our service is committed to raising awareness, informing and mobilising actors around the world.
As the International Observatory on Violence against Women, we reaffirm our determination to combat violence against women and girls in order to promote an egalitarian society that respects everyone. In this commemorative period, we are highlighting our joint actions with the ICGLRD – UCLG, reaffirming our shared commitment to a world where women’s rights are fully recognised and protected.
