Critical Situation in Jenin: Growing Tensions and Urgent Needs
During our weekly video conference on 4 April, we shared information on the situation in Jenin. Maysoun Dawoud, Head of the Jenin Observatory on Violence against Women, gave an overview of the current situation.

The previous night, a new attack shook Jenin, occurring during the breaking of the Ramadan fast as people were shopping.
The precarious economic situation further exacerbates the crisis, with salaries not being paid since January. Moreover, the absence of salary payments is also having an impact on security and access to essential services for the population.
Despite these challenges, the Observatory continues its work with vulnerable families.
